Cavity, internal or external wall insulation — which is right for your home?

The main difference is where the insulation is installed:
🔹 Cavity insulation fills the space between the inner and outer walls.
🔹 Internal insulation is fitted to the inside of your external walls.
🔹 External insulation is applied to the outside of your home and finished with a protective render.

The most suitable option depends on your home’s construction, existing insulation and the condition of its walls.

“We already have insulation — could we still need more?”

It’s a fair question. Having insulation doesn’t always mean your home is insulated effectively. Older material may be too thin, compressed or uneven, with gaps that allow heat to escape.

A great day at the Midlands Home & Building Show!

The Cooper Insulation team were delighted to be in Mullingar, chatting with homeowners about making their homes warmer, more comfortable and more energy-efficient through insulation and whole-house energy upgrades.

We were also delighted to welcome the Rose of Tralee to the Cooper Insulation stand for a photo with the team! 🌹

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, asked questions and learned more about the supports and solutions available for upgrading their home.

A fantastic result for the Cooper Insulation team! ⛳

We were delighted to take part in the Golf Classic at Championship Course, finishing in an impressive 2nd place — pipped to the top spot by just one point!

A brilliant effort from Kieran Smith, Chris Lowry and Thomas Flanagan from the Cooper Insulation team, alongside Noel Corcoran.

A great day out, some competitive golf and a result to be proud of. Well done to everyone involved! 🏌️‍♂️
