I got the opportunity this week to do something I've always wanted to do. This is a handmade truss using traditional joinery. This truss is made out of jarrah wood, which was imported from Australia and is assembled without using any mechanical fixings. Im delighted with how it turned out, loved the challenge. Jarrah is by far the hardest timber ive ever worked with and the truss weighs an estimated 800kgs.The truss will be used as part of a bigger project to be started very soon
