Actec currently have a job vacancies for qualified Electricians / Automatic Door Technicians.

We are a Kilkenny based leading supplier and installer of automatic doors and bespoke solutions providing support and maintenance to companies in the Manufacturing, Industrial, Food, Health & Retail sectors across Ireland.

We are currently looking for Electricians and Automatic Door Technicians to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out new installations, planned preventative/scheduled maintenance and unscheduled emergency repairs to products across our customer sites around the country which will include working on Automatic doors, Roller Shutters, Rapid Roll Doors and Sectional Overhead Doors.

Training will be given on specific equipment and exact customer requirements as well the possibility to get an industry recognised qualification to service Automatic Doors.

We are looking for someone who;
· Has an Electrical/Electronic/Engineering qualification (minimum NFQ Level 6 or higher or is at a minimum a 3rd year Apprentice).
· Ideally has at least 2 years experience of working within a similar role on electrical or electronic engineering maintenance.
· Has the ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, electric meters in performing duties.
· Holds a Full Clean Drivers Licence.
· Has a good working knowledge of Microsoft office.
· Has the ability to work on their own initiative and be able to adapt and prioritise different tasks.
· Is health and safety focussed.
· Demonstrates a high level of customer service to meet the needs and standards of our customer base.

Accounts and Administration Assistant required for our Kilkenny Office.

As our company continues to grow we require a full-time accounts / administration assistant to meet the following criteria:

Key Resonsibilities of the Role:
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Employee Expenses
- Assist with Payroll
- Assist with general administrative tasks (printing, binding, arranging couriers, etc)

Requirements for the Role:
- Previous accounts experience including experience using Sage is essential
- 3rd level education in accountancy would be an advantage
- Strong IT experience including Excel
- Ability to prioritise workload in a busy office to meet certain deadlines
