✨ Our May 2026 Talk ✨
We’re delighted to welcome back Sandra Lefroy, who gave the second ever talk to the society in Oct 2017 - nearly 9 years ago!

Since then, Sandra has gone on to publish a book - Connections and Reflections - and this month she returns to tell us about the fascinating literary threads in her family history. She will also tell the story of The Phoenix — one of Ireland’s most important heritage boats and the subject of her memorable 2017 talk.

Join us for an evening of literary, family and local history.

📍 Wednesday 20th May at 7.30pm in the Lakeside Ballroom. As always, all of our talks are free. Special thanks to the Lakeside Hotel in providing the super venue.
We look forward to seeing you there!
