This is a very Common Tank Failure we see on the older Biotec CLP6 (surf board lid). Where in internal structure rots and collapses.

Where most companies will condem and replace the unit costing easily excess of €10-15k (often alot more).
We come on site, Strip out the Tank entirely, washout and replace EVERTHING with brand new uprated components like this one in Co.Cavan!
