Woodwebs Woodwebs was established in 2014 to support four men to run their own business, specialising in carpentry, woodcraft and furniture upcycling.

Each of the business owners contribute their different skills which ensures authentic work is always crafted.

🌿 Project Update – Woodwebs & Corlann Ireland 🌿

We're delighted to shine a light on the fantastic work being carried out by WoodWebs, a subsidiary of Corlann, as part of our Rewilding for Wellbeing Community Project.

The handcrafted planter boxes for the garden have now been completed and can be seen in their temporary home in Vandeleur Walled Garden, Kilrush , and the bespoke bench is almost ready for its new home. Over the coming weeks, the bench will be on display at the WoodWebs Market on The Square in Kilrush every Thursday, giving the community a chance to see the incredible craftsmanship of the WoodWebs team.

What makes this project so special is the collaboration behind it, bringing together organisations, participants and volunteers to create something with a lasting impact for our community.

With just one final step remaining, we're looking forward to seeing the project completed next month. A huge thank you to everyone involved so far for their time, talents and support. 💚

As part of Volunteer Week, we’re celebrating the community connections at the heart of our Active Age & Wellbeing Project 💜
Each week, Kilrush Credit Union hosts two community sessions with the Clarecare group, bringing people together through creativity, conversation and shared experiences.
This month, we’ve been focusing on art and upcycling, repainting old plant pots that will soon be filled and planted as part of the garden project 🌱
It’s also been fantastic for members of our team to visit the wonderful gang at WoodWebs, part of Corlann, who are handcrafting the benches and planters for the space. Seeing the care, creativity and craftsmanship behind their work has made the project even more meaningful.
Community projects like this are about so much more than gardens, they’re about people, connection and belonging.
