Great to see a little piece of Kinsale history achieve an A-Rating.

This 1900 mid-terrace house on Bandon Road has been transformed through a deep energy retrofit, demonstrating that our historic building stock can meet modern standards of comfort, efficiency and sustainability without losing its character.

The project achieved:
• A-BER Rating

• Primary Energy Use of just 66.79 kWh/m²/yr

Retrofitting existing buildings remains one of the most effective ways to reduce carbon emissions while preserving the architectural heritage that gives our towns and villages their unique identity.
