Last week’s safety voucher winners highlight the positive safety culture being promoted across our projects.

Photo 1: Congratulations to Alex Alegres, our SOR Winner of the Week at Marina Depot. Alex was recognised for his consistently positive attitude, willingness to support others, and strong commitment to safety on site. His excellent safety awareness and proactive approach set a great example for the team.

Photo 2: Well done to Gabriel Mihaica and Qinglong Xie, two Admore Structures chargehands, who were presented with safety vouchers at Knockrabo Phase 2 by Alan Byrne, Conack Site Safety Representative. Gabriel and Qinglong were recognised for their conscientious and safe attitude, as well as their positive and engaging approach to work on site.

Strong progress continues on Marina Depot project.

Precast structure has topped out on all four blocks, brickwork nearing completion on 2 blocks, roofing progressing across all blocks and external hard landscaping works have commenced. Internal fitouts progressing across all blocks.

Conack gratefully appreciate the support and endeavours of our supply chain partners who are making this exciting project happen at Marina Depot.

Excellent progress continues at our St. Colman’s Community Nursing Unit project, with the building now weather-tight as external windows have been installed and roofing works are well advanced.

A wide range of trades are currently progressing internal works, including stud walling, plumbing, ventilation, secondary steel, fireproofing, electrical installations, and first-fix IPS and fitted furniture.

Externally, the stone façade and rendered insulation finishes are taking shape, while works on the existing hospital car park extension are also progressing well.

Good progress continues at Youghal PCC, with key milestones being exceeded across all areas of the development.

Blockwork to roof level is now fully complete and the steel roof structure installation is progressing. External windows to 1st floor level have been installed. Internal fit out works are continuing on the Ground Floor including partitions and 1st fix M&E. Fit out works to the 1st floor has also commenced.

Youghal Primary Care Centre (PCC), which will deliver a comprehensive range of primary care services to meet the needs of the local community. The new development will deliver a comprehensive range of primary care services designed to meet the health and wellbeing needs of the local community. It will provide a modern, accessible, and patient-focused environment that integrates both primary and specialist services within the community.

Steady progress continues at Newcastle West Garda Station with the curtain wall installation now nearing completion. We’re looking forward to seeing the scaffolding removed next month as another key milestone is reached on the project.

Great work by the entire team as the project continues to move forward.
