Now installers of Heat recovery ventilation. This system works independently of your normal heating system. ... They flow past each other without mixing physically but the heat is drawn from the stale air to the cold air, which is then fed back down into the pipes and into the rooms. The stale air, minus its heat, is then expelled into the atmosphere.

Why upgrade existing halogen lights to LED??
Here's a bit of information to make you change your mind...

The key strength of LED lighting systems is in their low power consumption and durability. On average led based lighting systems will use 10%-20% of the power consumption of their incandescent counterparts. This translates into an average electrical cost saving of 80%-90% as peoples and companies convert to led lighting.

Realistically, the cost savings would be higher as most incandescent light bulbs blow out within a year and require replacements whereas LED light bulbs will last for a decade without replacements. Over the long haul, led based lighting systems are more cost effective simply because of its low power consumption and long life (50,000-100,000 hours).
