By creating these habitats, you’re helping to restore balance in local ecosystems, support pollination, and encourage natural pest control.

In this relaxed and creative session, you’ll use a mix of natural and reclaimed materials to design and build your own bug hotel to take home. We’ll guide you step by step, and share tips on where to place it for the best results.

Suitable for all ages, this workshop is a great way to connect with nature, get creative, and make a positive impact.

Male mice produce ultrasonic courtship songs that can help attract females.

The sounds are too high-pitched for humans to hear, but they have real song-like structure, with different syllables, repeated phrases, and rhythms.

Researchers found males produce more elaborate, louder songs when they smell a female nearby but can’t see her. Once she’s actually there, the song tends to get longer and simpler.

Female mice respond more to the complex versions.
