Across the rooftops of Wexford General Hospital, more than 2,000 solar panels are transforming previously unused roof space into infrastructure that will generate clean, renewable energy for years to come.

Wexford General Hospital | The Story So Far ☀
From an empty roof to the first sections of solar taking shape.
Over the past three weeks, we’ve been documenting the progress of one of our biggest current projects at Wexford General Hospital.

What started with roof preparation, measuring and setting out has now moved into the installation phase — with the first of 2,000+ solar PV panels making their way onto the roof.

There’s a huge amount of work behind a commercial solar project of this scale, and this video gives you a glimpse of the transformation so far.

So far:
- 47,615 kWh generated
- 28,960 kWh used directly on-site
- 18,655 kWh exported to the grid

Now, we’re starting to see all that preparation take shape.
