from this 3inch by 9inch frame (mammy insisted on keeping the photos of dad and Jason snr (R.I.P ) on a wooden frame my brother made. (we can see from the very first picture........ it's a wall built around the tv............

2,3,4,5th etc show you the progress being made.when it's painted skirted, and mammys adjustable tv stand, is safely screwed onto it. it'll be amazing ...

a lady wanted something done to her stair for less than 40 Euro...
yeah that's right....40 Euro......

so, I got a box of wooden flooring which was left over from a job =free

strip of carpet also left over =free

sandpaper= €2.99

pvc glue= €3.99

3/4inch tacks= free (had already)

paint= €20 ......................

total cost ,€ 28
€12 Euro under budget .
used a sheet of cardboard and made a template , cutting and trimming until perfectly half a circle (with a 2 inch lip added,at the bottom to overlap the steps edge)
then sat the cardboard over my two strips of wooden floor(joined together ) and drew with a marker.
then I got my skill saw and cut the shape.now I'd my template (T.P).
got the T/P then ,and sat it on my carpet strip (which barely did the job.as you can see two/3 steps down I'D to cut it diagonally !!!😁😫.
but I got the 13 needed.....

then I sanded stair well, then painted, as I was painting I was applying pvc glue at the same time (only went in far enough with paint so that the browns covered)

worked my way down..........
then I added tacks to the edges..

then my wooden flooring was cut to use as a backboard....(again barely having enough)I'd to cut opposite ends each time...
so I'd enough left for last two/three steps....
the boards clicked in as usual as I'd cut so that's possible......
then trimmed ends off both ends to fit......

glued and tacked back boards too.........

and finished........

My MA's bathroom I done.nearly 4 year ago...from prepping with bonding plaster..... To painting ceiling and walls, then Tiling walls, floors ,box around toilet and around mirror...
Looks good if I may say so meself..
It was all for me ma so I only charged 3k ....
I'm good like that ......😉😉😉😉 not .anyone that charges their mother should be shot...unless it's a two story extension she wants lol

Oh and I hung that strenuos shower screen and put up new blind

Disclaimer.. I wanted the skirting done white but a certain twin brother OR his sidekick/partner in crime/ dart buddy .... John Moore ..painted it fcukin brown..
There's enough brown in toilets lads and I don't mean paint !!!! Haha haha. .........
