DGD Shredding already had sustainability built into the way it operates. Solar was the next practical step.

MarVal Power installed a 54 kWp rooftop system using 130 Longi panels and an SMA Core 2 inverter, with no disruption to day-to-day operations. The project helped DGD Shredding cover around 30% of its energy requirements, with projected lifetime savings of more than 285,000 euro and 299 tonnes of carbon avoided.

Hospitality is where commercial solar pays off fastest, and most owners don't know why.
