Kate Fahey, 22, is from Kilkerrin, and works as a tower crane operator on the ATU Galway campus, helping build a new engineering facility. She is passionate about encouraging others into construction, and sharing pathways into the industry. Outside of work, Kate enjoys jiving and line-dancing, and loves to travel. She teaches dance classes in her local community, and recently travelled to Nashville, where she honed her line-dancing skills! Kate co-organises the Glenamaddy Tractor and Truck Run; raising funds for various charities. She also assists on her family farm, and is completing her Green Cert.
