Roundwood Timber are currently seeking a mechanic / plant fitter to help maintain our fleet of LGV, HGV and plant.

Responsibilities
- Service and repair forestry machinery (harvesters, forwarders, excavators)
- Maintain and repair HGV trucks and trailers and LGV
- Repair hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves
- Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections
- Respond to on-site breakdowns when required
- Ensure vehicles and machinery meet safety and compliance standards
- Maintain service and repair records
- ⁠Ensure machinery complies with health & safety standards

Requirements
- Experience as a mechanic (forestry, plant, agricultural, or HGV)
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Experience working with commercial vehicles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full driving licence
