👷 Health, Safety & Wellbeing at St Joseph’s, Clonsilla

M&P Mechanical was delighted to bring our site team together for Construction Industry Federation (CIF) Safety Week at St Joseph’s, Clonsilla, a 376-apartment development in Dublin 15, where we are working alongside our valued client, Walls Construction.

As part of our ongoing support for the CIF Construction Safety Campaign, we took time out on site to focus on topics that matter to everyone working in construction:
🔹 Silica dust awareness; protecting long-term health through awareness and safe working practices.
🔹 First aid response; practical CPR and choking-response demonstrations.
🔹 Mental health and wellbeing; encouraging open conversations and looking out for one another.

Our Contracts Manager, Darren Oneill, and Project Manager, Darren O'Rourke, joined apprentices, plumbers, labourers and subcontractors for the session. Bringing everyone together reinforces our shared responsibility for safety and the importance of continuous learning and supporting colleagues at every stage of their careers.

There were a few sweet treats too, with our M&P and Construction Safety Campaign cupcakes making a welcome appearance! 🧁

Thank you to Walls Construction and their site management team for hosting, attending and supporting the session, to MP Safety for delivering the workshop, and to everyone who participated.

We are proud to work alongside clients who share our commitment to keeping health, safety and wellbeing at the forefront of site life.

👷‍♂️ CIF CONSTRUCTION SAFETY CAMPAIGN 2026 | CELBRIDGE, CO. KILDARE 🦺

Working Together to Build a Safer Construction Industry! ❤️🖤

Our Construction Industry Federation (CIF) Safety Campaign activities continued this week at our Crodaun Construction project in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, a residential development comprising over 200 units.

As M&P Mechanical proudly supports the CIF Safety Campaign for the fifth consecutive year, we’re delighted to see such positive engagement across our sites.

It was fantastic to bring our teams, fellow trades and contractors together for another important opportunity to discuss workplace safety, share knowledge and reinforce the importance of looking out for one another.

🦺 Safety isn’t just about procedures and regulations. It’s about creating a culture where everyone takes responsibility for their own wellbeing and the safety of those around them.

🧁 We also had a few sweet treats and incentives throughout the activities as a small thank you to everyone who took the time to get involved!

A special thank you to Crodaun Construction for their cooperation and support, and to everyone who participated in making the sessions a success.

💻 Position: Purchasing / Procurement Administrator
📍 Location: Sandyford, Dublin
🕒 Hours: Full-Time | 39 hours per week
💰 Salary: €35,000–€42,000, depending on experience
🏡 Hybrid Working: Opportunity to work from home up to two days per week following six months, subject to approval.

👷‍♂️ Construction Industry Federation (CIF) SAFETY CAMPAIGN 2026 | HEARTHFIELD, DUNDALK 🦺
Putting Health, Safety & Wellbeing First! ❤️🖤
Today marked a fantastic day of engagement at our Hearthfield development in Dundalk for our longstanding client URBAN LIFE, as M&P Mechanical proudly supports the CIF Construction Safety Campaign for the fifth consecutive year!
Located in the heart of our local community and just a short distance from our headquarters, Hearthfield is a significant residential development comprising over 200 houses, duplexes and apartments.

As part of this year's campaign, we organised two important safety awareness sessions, delivered by MP Safety, focusing on:
🧠 Mental Health & General Wellbeing – Highlighting the importance of looking after both our physical and mental health, recognising when support may be needed and encouraging open conversations within the construction industry.
💪 Manual Handling Awareness – Reinforcing safe working practices, injury prevention and the importance of protecting ourselves and our colleagues throughout our daily activities.

It was fantastic to see such a great turnout, with M&P employees, apprentices, fellow trades, subcontractors and main contractor representatives all coming together to participate.
Our Project Manager, Philip Martin, and Contracts Manager Dean Hussey, were also in attendance, supporting the day's activities and reinforcing the importance of safety leadership at every level of our business.
🧁 Of course, we couldn't let the occasion pass without a few sweet treats and spot prizes to thank everyone for getting involved!

👷‍♂️ Site safety talks are underway this week at M&P Mechanical as we proudly support the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) Safety Campaign for our fifth consecutive year! 🦺

Across our sites, teams are taking time to focus on mental and general health, manual handling, working at height, ladder safety, trench awareness and dust management through practical talks and demonstrations.

These sessions are an opportunity to ask questions, refresh our knowledge and reinforce the everyday habits that help keep everyone safe.

All trades and contractors on each participating site are welcome to join the talks throughout the week. Safety is a shared responsibility, and we encourage everyone to get involved! 🤝

We also have a few sweet treats and incentives lined up throughout the week to say thank you for taking part! 🧁🙌

A fantastic evening celebrating excellence across the Irish construction industry! 🏗️

M&P Mechanical was delighted to be shortlisted as a finalist for Subcontractor of the Year at the Irish Construction Industry Awards 2026.
While we didn't bring home the award on this occasion, being recognised alongside some of the industry's leading companies is an achievement we are incredibly proud of and a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment of our entire team.
The evening was a brilliant opportunity to step away from our busy schedules, catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and network with so many talented professionals from across the industry.

We are delighted to be supporting the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) Construction Safety Campaign 2026, taking place from 12th–23rd October, under this year's theme:

“Back to Basics - Take Time, Make Safe Choices, Look After Yourself and Each Other.”

As part of our commitment to the campaign, we have organised a series of dedicated health, safety and wellbeing awareness sessions across our active construction sites.
These sessions are designed to encourage meaningful conversations, reinforce safe working practices and ensure that our teams have the knowledge and awareness needed to identify risks and make safe decisions every day.
Safety is about more than policies, procedures and compliance. It's about creating a culture where everyone feels empowered to speak up, look out for one another and take responsibility for their own safety and wellbeing.
