Breffni Group are delighted to be involved in the demolition of 25-28 and 29-31 Adelaide Rd., opposite the Eye and Ear Hospital Dublin, on behalf of our Client Westlink Capital.

We have just completed soft strip and asbestos removal and we are now starting hard demolition works.

A big shout out to the entire team and we will provide further updates with action photos in due course.

Breffni Group were delighted to work alongside GMC in supporting Uisce Éireann with essential works on a critical watermain supplying Dublin City.
Over the recent bank holiday weekend, a section of the 1600mm watermain between Ballymore Eustace and Saggart was successfully removed and replaced. Breffni Group provided plant, labour engineers & Logistical resources throughout the works, contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of the project.
We are pleased to have played our part in what was a well-coordinated and successful operation, with the works completed safely and on schedule.
A great effort from everyone involved, and we look forward to supporting the reinstatement works as the project progresses.

By combining innovative equipment with experienced operators, we can access difficult areas while reducing risk, improving productivity, and delivering a high-quality finish with minimal environmental impact. This weekend, Luke Combs takes to the stage at Slane Castle, and while thousands of fans will see an incredible show, there’s a huge amount of work happening behind the scenes to bring it all together.
We’re proud to have the Breffni group Logistics Department on site, helping deliver and position essential infrastructure—from welfare units and facilities to equipment that keeps the event running safely and smoothly. Every load delivered is another step towards creating an unforgettable experience for concertgoers.
A big well done to all the operators, event crews and contractors working tirelessly in the lead-up to the show. It’s a real team effort, and we’re delighted to play our part.

Breffni Group took an interesting approach recently to the construction of pads for a temporary modular building. After setting out, saw-cutting, and breaking out opes in a concrete slab for each pad, we used our Suction Excavator to excavate the opes to the required depth. The methodology employed offered considerable savings in time, materials, plant and labour and enabled the timely delivery of the completed pads to our Client.

Breffni Group had a great day networking at the National Construction Summit 2026 at the Sports Ireland Campus, Blanchardstown yesterday. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet with some of our Supply Chain partners, meet new suppliers, see some new products, and hear some more detail on some of our exciting impending infrastructural projects.

It was particularly interesting to hear Noel Ryan of Irish Rail give an overview of Metrolink and the 2 major interfaces with the Irish Rail Network at Glasnevin and Tara St.

And, to top it off, Keith Barry was lucky enough to get a 3-card trick on Seán Flynn!
