Meagher Construction is looking for a Skilled General Operative to join its team.

Work will be based on a number of new build projects across the South Tipperary & Kilkenny area.

Duties/tasks:
• Groundworks - to help out with foundations, concrete work, ducting and sewerage works
• Airtightness works - installation of tapes and membranes
• Insulation - installing floor insulation and preparation for floor screeds, attic
insulation
• Small amounts of carpentry/formwork
• Collecting and delivery materials
• Tidying and organising of sites
Experience in the above tasks would be an advantage but training can be provided

Requirements:
• Safe Pass & Manual Handling
• Must be punctual and have a good attitude to work
• Must have good attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks to a high standard
• Own transport is essential. A van and power & hand tools would be an advantage
• Teleporter ticket would be an advantage
• Most of the work would be carried out as part of a team but must be able to work
on their own initiative

Salary:
To be negotiated depending on experience and ability to carry out tasks efficiently and to a high standard

Hours:
8:00 to 5:00 Monday to Friday

Duration:
Long term position for the right candidate
