A big thank you to Vusani, our Junior Engineer, who has just completed his 8-month college placement with CTS Group.

During his time with us, Vusani made a fantastic contribution to both our mechanical and electrical teams, gaining valuable hands-on experience along the way.

Team Building
Building a strong team culture is about more than just hitting targets and meeting deadlines—it’s about the connections we build along the way.

We recently stepped away from our desks and site boots for a bit of friendly competition on the karting track, followed by a relaxed BBQ at the Reg Bar. It was the perfect opportunity to trade Laptops and screwdrivers and wrenches for steering wheels and enjoy some downtime together.

Seeing the team connect, laugh, and recharge outside of the work environment is always a highlight. Moments like these are essential for strengthening our communication and collaboration back at work. A huge thanks to everyone who joined in and made it such a memorable day!

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview:
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the project management team by providing essential cost management and surveying expertise. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates who are looking to build a successful career in the engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing tender documents, including bills of quantities.
- Conduct cost analysis and prepare cost estimates for projects.
- Monitor project costs and provide detailed reports.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Support the management of contracts and variations.
- Engage in site visits and liaise with contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Estimation software).
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
