Over the past two weeks, the Conal's Tree Services Ltd team has been proudly supporting the international response effort following the impact of Storm Kristin in Portugal.
Working as part of the response team coordinated by ESB Networks, and our Portuguese colleagues in E-REDES , our staff have played their part in helping the affected communities.
Storm events of this scale require more than technical expertise — they demand teamwork, flexibility, resilience, and strong collaboration across organisations and borders. We are extremely proud of how our crews in Conal's Tree Services Ltd, are working safely, professionally, and tirelessly in challenging conditions.
The cooperation between ESB Networks and E-REDES has demonstrated the strength of international utility partnerships and the shared commitment across the industry to restore power to customers as quickly and safely as possible.

Conal's Tree Services Ltd crews left Dublin Port last night supporting our client ESB Networks to assist E-REDES , the Portuguese Distribution System Operator, following the severe impact of Storms Kristin and Leonardo.
Winds of up to 200 km/h left more than 1 million customers without electricity, causing widespread damage to electricity infrastructure across affected regions.
Our crews are now travelling onward by ferry as part of a coordinated international response to help restore electricity supply and repair damaged infrastructure in Portugal.
We wish all personnel a safe journey.
