How I keep my tools sharp!

Blunt tools are ineffective, waste time and most importantly: DANGEROUS!

Keeping the cutting edge of a tools such as this chisel sharp makes working easier and safer.

I use 3 diamond stones to touch up the microbevel - coarse, medium and fine - and then hone the edge with a strop and some buffing compound.

Doing this routinely keeps my sharpening time to about 3 minutes per tool.

A well sharpened tool should be able to slice through paper cleanly with little pressure.

Getting some bridle joints dialed in.

I like to slightly taper the joinery so I get a good friction fit as the joint bottoms out.

We don’t hide or ignore mistakes - We fix them.

In woodworking, as in all areas of life, mistakes will happen. Instead of hiding them, ignoring them or trying to convince the client “that’s the way it came from the factory” we take the time to think it through, find a solution, and fix it.
