The Jerusalem District Planning and Building Committee has approved the Iceland-Mexico urban renewal plan in Kiryat Menachem, one of the larges t renewal initiatives currently promoted in southwest Jerusalem.

Located near the light rail, the plan will transform five residential blocks into a mixed-use urban complex with new homes, commercial and employment spaces, public buildings, open areas, and improved pedestrian connectivity.
