Mate has crossed $50M in total funding, just eight months after coming out of stealth ♟️

The milestone comes on the back of a $35M Series A led by Canaan, Insight Partners, and M12, Microsoft’s Venture Fund, with Team8 continuing alongside as an early believer.

ProFounders Asaf Wiener, Oren Saban and Guy Pergal built Mate on a simple premise: SOC teams don’t need another AI vendor promising the future, they need something that can already sit inside their environment and be trusted with it. The founders’ backgrounds, out of Wiz, Microsoft and Axonius, are exactly the combination that earns that trust: people who build frontier AI paired with people who’ve been the ones staring at the alert when it’s real.

From the CISO Village Summit stage to the Nasdaq screen in Times Square.

Alt and Jazz, this year’s Team8 CISO Village Choice Award winners, made it onto the big board. Most Innovative and Best Pitch, voted by +120 CISOs and security leaders from across the community.

5 days, 120 CISOs from around the globe, one Village.

𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝟴 𝗖𝗜𝗦𝗢 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 brought together the people shaping the next era of cybersecurity, security leaders, operators, founders, investors, and partners, for a week of direct conversations about AI, nation-state threats, identity, insider risk, exposure management, resilience, and the evolving role of the CISO.

The theme this year, 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, came to life in every discussion.

AI is changing how software is built, how attackers operate, how defenders respond, and how organizations think about trust. But the Summit also made one thing clear: the future of cybersecurity will not be shaped by technology alone. It will be shaped by the people willing to share what they see, challenge assumptions, and build together.

That is the power of the Village.
