Dwarkesh Bhawan is a community campus designed to serve every function a community needs under one address. Two interconnected building blocks house offices, 24 hotel-style accommodation rooms, and grand multipurpose halls that rise to the height of three floors, giving the space a presence that announces itself well before you arrive. The façade is built in exposed brick with vertical fins, deep recessed windows, and tall glazed openings that let the scale of the halls read clearly from the outside. We designed this as a building the community builds once and keeps for generations. Swipe through to see how both wings come together as a single, considered institution.

A home is only as good as the life it makes possible around it.

At Shivalik Velenza, Aakar Architects designed the shared spaces with the same care given to the private ones. A two-storey clubhouse, a full suite of amenities on the ground floor of each building, and a landscape by Sculpting Grounds that gives residents a genuine reason to step outside.

The residential society covers every stage of life, from a toddler area and children's play spaces to a workspace, gym, and semi-covered seating for older residents.

Shivalik Velenza is a residential and commercial development. There are nine towers in which every spatial decision was made with the resident in mind. Open plan 2BHK and 3BHK homes give each household the freedom to organise their interior as they choose.

Ground floor retail, a two-storey clubhouse, and a full suite of amenities within the society itself.

Landscape was designed by Sculpting Grounds with all age groups in mind, creating a serene space for all residents.

Shivalik Velenza is a residential and commercial development across nine towers, where the planning was built around one straightforward conviction: a home should work the way its residents do, not the other way around.

Ground floor retail keeps the street active while 2BHK and 3BHK residences sit above, each designed around an open plan where the living room, dining area, and kitchen flow into a single connected space. Residents choose how to divide and use it.

The flexibility is not a feature added at the end of the design process. It was at the centre of the planning.

A corner plot gives a building two streets to face, and two opportunities to be deliberate. At this 4BHK Residence, the façade holds its presence from both directions through exposed brick textures, smooth plaster, and arched openings.

A corner window in the living area dissolves the boundary between interior and landscape at every hour.

The corner residence is taking shape. On site, the arched openings are reading exactly as drawn, the brick massing holds its presence from both street elevations, and the double heights are beginning to do what volume is meant to do. There is a particular satisfaction in watching a well-considered design come off the page with everything intact.

Volume is one of the most underused tools in residential design. At this Residence, each of the four double heights was placed with a specific intention, the street elevation that announces the house before you arrive, the entry that opens upward the moment you step in, the puja space designed in accordance with Vastu where light falls from above, and the dining area that keeps a family visually connected across floors. Both bedrooms are built around the same idea: a limited material palette that invokes a feeling of calm. Using Veneer for warmth, PU finishes for a clean, matte consistency, Fluted wall panels that add texture without demanding attention, we delivered what was asked.

The wardrobe shutters are profile shutters, recessed, considered, quiet. The bathroom door disappears into the wall entirely, not interrupting the aesthetic of the rooms.

The colour choices were deliberate. Earthy terracotta, dusty blue, warm beige, copper, tones that sit easily together and don't compete for the room's attention. The result is a space that feels settled rather than styled.

Minimal by intent. Nothing added without reason.

The bedrooms for this private farmhouse were built around restraint, calm tones, natural veneer, PU finishes. The wardrobe shutters are profile. The toilet door disappears into the wall.

Farmhouse, Ganpatpura | Site Visit

Raw structure meets quiet intention. From the double-height living space and the cantilevered staircase to the master bedroom finished in veneer, sage, and PU.

This farmhouse has been thought through as a whole.
