Where the land feeds the stay.
Sangam Farms, Bhilwara — a working farm organised around water, stone, and cultivated land, with architecture built to belong to the landscape it sits within.
Stone-walled structures with deep eaves, luxury tents set along lily ponds, planted edges and open water reading as one continuous ground.

At the centre, a working farm. Produce grown, harvested, and carried to the kitchen the same morning. Farm to table as the founding idea — the land feeding the stay.

A child's room that refuses to talk down to the child.

Designed around objects rather than themes, the space pairs adult-grade materials with collected, characterful pieces — a vocabulary of red, blue, and stone held together by light and proportion.

The bookshelf anchors the room as a sculptural composition: stacked, cantilevered boxes in red and coral, doubling as storage and as art against the double-height wall.

Across from it, a 1940s Fiat 500 converted into a sofa by an Italian furniture house sits as the room's collected object. A biplane suspended overhead continues the conversation; an abstract painting holds the wall behind.
Underfoot, veined natural marble grounds the playfulness in something permanent. A child's space, but designed with the seriousness of a living room.

An Art Deco hotel that wears its era openly.
The design doesn't reference the period — it inhabits it. Stepped parapets, fluted pilasters, chevron friezes, and ziggurat-patterned grilles form a consistent ornamental language across every elevation, every threshold, every cornice line.

Image 1 — The facade against the sky. Vertical massing, layered cornices, and the stepped silhouette that defines the Deco vocabulary.

Image 2 — The verandah. A shaded threshold where guests first meet the building. Patterned columns frame the entry; turquoise grilles and inlaid marble set the tone before you cross inside.

Image 3 — Ornament in close-up. The motifs that recur throughout the building — chevrons, dentils, fluted columns — read here as a single composition.

A building designed to make nostalgia feel like a place you can walk into.

The project is designed as a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces, integrating an open-to-sky café, indoor restaurant, terrace bistro and banquet areas within a single layout.

The planning treats outdoor areas as primary spaces rather than residual ones. Seating, circulation and gathering zones are organised within the landscape, allowing the built and unbuilt to function together.

Movement through the site is not restricted to a single path. The layout allows circulation across multiple interconnected zones, creating a continuous spatial experience.

Levels, planters and seating elements are used to define spaces instead of rigid boundaries, enabling transitions between different functions without isolating them.

Materials such as china mosaic flooring, exposed brick and integrated planting are used to create a cohesive identity across the project.

The approach focuses on organising multiple functions within a unified framework, while maintaining clarity in movement and use.

The project is located on a steeply contoured site near Kampala.

Instead of flattening the terrain, the design works with the natural slope to organise the building.

Two levels of parking are integrated within the contours below the residences. Due to the gradient, both levels have direct access from the road, making circulation efficient while reducing unnecessary intervention on site.

The built form follows the terrain rather than imposing a rigid geometry, allowing the structure to sit more naturally within its context.

The intent is to respond to the site conditions first, and let the planning emerge from it.
