This project envisions an ambitious, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for a CCTV manufacturer, located within the Electronic Estate of Gandhinagar. Conceived as more than just a production unit, the building is re-imagined as a statement of architecture—demonstrating how a flagship manufacturing facility can embody a brand’s identity and values.
The structure is designed as a G+2 Pre-Engineered Building (PEB). Traditionally associated with warehouse construction, the PEB system is here leveraged to create a contemporary, multi-storey manufacturing unit. The exterior façade features a combination of GI corrugated sheets and ACP cladding. To avoid the perception of a monolithic metal mass, the overall volume is articulated into three horizontal bands, with the central band projecting outward and finished in ACP. This strategic articulation breaks down the scale, visually lightens the structure, and introduces a more humanized architectural expression.
The colour palette directly reflects the brand’s identity. Having previously designed the client’s corporate headquarters in early 2020, a distinct design language was established—characterized by angular façades and a light grey and red colour scheme. Extending this language, the manufacturing unit adopts a darker grey and red palette, reinforcing brand continuity and translating the established architectural identity into an industrial context.
