Gifts for our lovable mumma on mothers day, teddy for our loved one on teddy day, roses on rose day and the list goes on but why 7 out 10 don't actually know about ENGINEERS' DAY in India. Despite of 3407 engineering colleges in the country with a population of 14.92 lakhs, why not we take any pleasure of celebrating this day, has this materialistic world left no time for us. Its our day, its a day which makes us feel distinct from others. Engineers participate in activities which make the resources of nature availabe in a form beneficial to man. We have sacrificed other temptations of life to serve the nation and to emerge as tech fronts of the country. We should enjoy this day equally as we enjoy others and feel proud to be a "true asset" of the country.
Petals N Sepals salutes all engineers and feels the pleasure of celebrating this auspicious day with all young guns of the country.

An illiterate r***d a girl smaller than her daughter's age, a man who brutally beats his wife for not serving the breakfast on time and also the so called youth of the nation who throws acid on a girls face just because she rejected his proposal . We think we are not wrong to call this section of the society "the dead end" and a ray of light in this room of darkness is WOMEN'S EQUALITY DAY that can make them realize what a women means for the nation.
It's no harm in saying that: Even a small Girl is way ahead of a grown up "Man".

Petals N Sepals takes immense pleasure in celebrating WOMEN'S EQUALITY DAY and feels it as an opportunity of taking a step towards what we actually call a developed nation.
WOMEN'S EQUALITY DAY a day when, we celebrate the achievements of women and recommit to realizing gender equality around the world.

The U.S. Congress designated August 26 as "Women's Equality Day" in 1971 to commemorate the 1920 passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, which granted women in the United States the right to vote.
We owe that legacy of progress to our mothers and aunts, grandmothers and great-grandmothers -- women who proved not only that opportunity and equality do not come without a fight, but also that they are possible.
So today we recognize not only the hard work and accomplishments of our foremothers, but also the untapped potential of women around the world.
