Initial site observation for an upcoming multi-villa development at Adichilly.
The plot exhibits a significant elevation difference, and to preserve the natural character of the land, the existing contours are retained and integrated into the planning. This approach helps balance the built form with the terrain while minimizing unnecessary cut and fill.

During the joint site visit with the architect, design constraints and site concerns were carefully evaluated, forming the basis for the planning strategy.
The initial building layouts have been finalized, and the project is planned to be executed from scratch, ensuring proper structural and site coordination from the foundation stage.

A high groundwater table was observed at approximately 3 m below ground level, which has been considered in the design and future construction methodology.

A project shaped by topography, technical evaluation, and context-responsive planning.

A challenging and exciting engineering assignment at Ezhattumugham, right along the river belt.
This project involves a basement floor that gets immersed when the dam gates are opened — which means the structure must safely resist:
▪️ Hydrostatic water pressure
▪️ Uplift forces
▪️ Lateral earth & water pressure
▪️ Long-term durability under cyclic submergence
Our role here is a detailed foundation and basement design check, ensuring the structure performs safely even under extreme water-level conditions.
Special attention is given to waterproofing strategy, RCC detailing, load combinations, and safety against flotation.
