The CHRO Boardroom event was held in Bengaluru on 21st January. It was a closed‑door roundtable with CHROs and senior HR leaders from Karnataka’s IT and digital services industry, along with government and ecosystem stakeholders.

The focus was aligning workforce priorities for an AI‑ready economy in Karnataka. Dr. E.V. Ramana Reddy (Chairman, Karnataka Skill Development Authority) led the session and highlighted the need for industry‑government collaboration to make Karnataka a USD 1 trillion economy using AI‑driven productivity and stronger skilling.

The discussions focused on how AI is reshaping work roles and the need for clearer skill signaling, faster reskilling, and better alignment between learning and workplace expectations. The insights will guide Karnataka’s skilling strategy and policy updates.

The event was organized by CHRMP and Ripples Learning & Research, in association with the Department of Skill Development & Livelihood (Govt. of Karnataka) and KDEM.

🌕 Buddha Jayanti | Learning. Transformation. Awakening. 🌿

On this sacred day, we honour the journey of Siddhartha who became the Buddha—not through privilege or position, but through awareness, self-discipline, and the relentless pursuit of wisdom.

Buddha’s path was one of inner mastery.
So is the path of true leadership.

🔍 This Buddha Jayanti, let’s ask ourselves:
What truth am I ready to face?
What skill am I ready to cultivate?
What change am I ready to become?

May we all rise—not just in roles or ranks, but in wisdom, empathy, and purpose.

✝️ Good Friday Reflections | Learning Beyond the Classroom

On this day of remembrance and reflection, we’re reminded that the greatest leadership lessons often come not from books, but from acts of sacrifice, humility, and grace under pressure.

At Ripples Learning, we believe that every moment — even the quiet ones — holds space for growth.

🕊️ Here’s a question for our community:
What’s one life lesson or leadership value you’ve embraced during challenging times?

Your story could inspire someone else’s transformation. 💬👇
Let’s learn from each other, and keep the ripples of growth moving outward. 🌊

Wishing peace, perspective, and purpose to you and your loved ones this Good Friday.

Learning isn’t a ritual. It’s an engineered process. 🚀🎯

For years, learning and training have been treated like a prayer—you do it, hope for the best, and move on. But Desikamani G, CEO of Mentor Learning, made a powerful point at the ASSOCHAM Future of Work Summit 2025:

🔹 Knowledge ≠ Skill.
Reading, comprehending, and recalling don’t create competency. Skill is built through practice, objective feedback, and iteration.

🔹 Learning needs engineering.
Just like great products, great learning environments are designed. They must allow people to apply, fail, receive feedback, and improve—continuously.

🔹 From passive learning to active transformation.
Organizations can’t just “teach” and expect impact. They must create immersive, feedback-driven learning ecosystems where growth is a lived experience, not a theoretical one.

This is the shift we need. From hoping learning works ➡️ to engineering it to work. 🚀

Are we still measuring learning by completion rates 📊, or by actual skill transformation? How do you approach learning in your organization? Let's discuss! 👇

In the last few weeks, I had the privilege of collaborating with some of the brightest minds in HR to create a white paper titled, "Empowering India: HR Vision for Sustainable, Innovative People Practices" on behalf of Certified Human Resource Management Professional in partnership ASSOCHAM. This journey culminated in an unforgettable moment on June 13, 2024, when the honorable Minister of Karnataka, Dinesh Gundu Rao, officially released our white paper which is published by Assocham (The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India) and Certified Human Resource Management Professional at the HR Conclave.

This comprehensive document delves deep into the transformative potential of HR in India, focusing on leveraging our demographic advantage and young population to create more sustainable and innovative workplaces. By harnessing technology and celebrating our rich cultural heritage, we aim to set global benchmarks in diversity and inclusion.

Here are some key highlights:
🔹 Strategies for HR to utilize India’s demographic strengths.
🔹 Methods to foster sustainable and innovative workplace environments.
🔹 Leveraging technology for profound business transformation.
🔹 Promoting diversity and inclusion inspired by India's cultural strengths.
🔹 Recommendations for collaboration between industry bodies, HR departments, and the government to contribute to India's Vision 2047 of becoming a developed economy.
