We recently had the opportunity to redesign Ceramed Engineers’ Bengaluru office, creating a space that could grow and evolve alongside their team.

The old office was made up of enclosed rooms and a fairly compartmentalised layout. We opened it up, bringing in more light, better flow and a mix of shared and quieter spaces for focused work. The result is a workplace that feels simple, bright and welcoming, while making much better use of the space available.

What made this project particularly meaningful to us was learning more about Ceramed’s work in water management. In collaboration with BWSSB, they are developing Bengaluru’s first full-scale municipal water recycling plant using HFNF technology, turning treated wastewater into a resource for industrial and non-potable use.

We loved the opportunity to design a workplace for a team working on such an important part of Bengaluru’s future, and to create a space that reflects their practical, forward-looking approach.

WE’RE MAKING ROOM.
Studio Slip is an interdisciplinary interior + spatial design studio working across healthcare, education, arts & culture, commercial and residential design.
We’re looking for young architects & interior designers with around 2 years of experience who are curious, excited by design and able to take an idea from drawing to site.
You should be good with:
→ AutoCAD
→ SketchUp
→ Photoshop
→ InDesign
→ Site experience
Some of the work we’re currently doing includes 27 Summit, Soukya, Fabindia, CRISPR BITS, and plenty of other cool projects that keep things interesting.

Some people walk into a studio as interns and instead of leaving, they just grow. 🤍
sam ♡ joined us part of her University mandate and that internship turned into two years, and those two years have quietly shaped so much of what we do. She has grown in front of our eyes, from someone finding her footing to someone we lean on without a second thought.
Watching her evolve as a designer has been one of the true joys of building this studio. And the best part? We know this is still just the beginning.
Congratulations, Sam. On two years, on the journey, on everything still to come. We are so proud of you. 🥂✨
