Designed as a holistic environment for learning, exploration and growth, Bedford School, Mohali brings together academic, cultural, residential and sporting spaces within a cohesive campus.
The masterplan includes academic and administrative blocks, a theatre, sports arena with swimming pool, dedicated junior and senior playgrounds, boarding facilities and landscaped open spaces — creating a campus where learning extends well beyond the classroom.
Drawing inspiration from the heritage of British independent school architecture while responding to the climate, culture and rhythm of Indian life, the architecture brings together brick, concrete, glass and landscape to create a distinctive yet contextual identity.
The architecture extends beyond the individual buildings. Shaded walkways, landscaped courts, gathering spaces and carefully planned transitions create a campus where learning continues beyond the classroom — while boarding and community spaces foster a sense of comfort, belonging and connection.
For us, the project is about creating more than an educational institution. It is about shaping an environment where architecture supports the whole journey of growing, learning and becoming.
