Competition Entry / The Tiny House /
A Tiny House isn’t just a low cost house that provides shelter- it is also a space that needs to make people feel at home. Keeping in mind the mental and psychological needs of the clientele, namely university students, we designed interesting spaces within the house that would enable them to grow and socialize. The dining table, which is a foldable one mounted on a wall, is designed along a large window bringing in scenic views while also allowing social interaction. A study unit and hammock designed as an extension of the top floor make studying more enjoyable and engaging. The large skylight on top brings in ample sunlight to this space. A push open window leads to a small balcony where the students can relax and enjoy the view outside.

Competition Entry / The Tiny House /
The planning of the Tiny House module comprising two floors is simple and efficient. The home consists of a living & dining space along with a kitchen and toilet on the lower floor and a sleeping space with a compact study unit and plenty of storage on top. A foldable ladder which is easy to use and occupies minimal space has been designed instead of the conventional staircase. Cross Laminated Timber which is lightweight, eco friendly and easy to construct with, has been used to build the floors and walls of the module. The facade which is designed with PTFE Tensile Fabric brings in ample sunlight and filtered air into the space. Wood rafters have been proposed to support the module structurally.

Design Proposal / Bar Design / Mood Board

Our client, who wanted to bring an ‘Instagrammable’ vibe to his nightclub, wanted us to give the existing bar space a makeover to make it a more happening place.

A colour palette comprising dark shades of grey and black in contrast to the brightly coloured upholstery and brass accents, brings a classy and rich ambience to the space. Lighting that adds more glamour to the space is proposed.

This is a 6700sq ft Co-working area in Chennai, houses 12 cabins and a conference room.

The corridor around the workspace is conceptualised to be relaxing street in a park which allows people to breakout from work, and give a different space that can be used for a variety of activities.

The conference room has the best seat in the house, overlooking the busy Anna Salai main road, through the arch windows, being an ideal place for important business discussions.

Co - working Office / The Executive Zone / Main Street Corridor

The cabins are zoned overlooking a series of large colonial style arch windows along a tasteful corridor designed to resemble a vibrant street, with high tables and pouffe seating. This arrangement acts as an extended work and leisure area, making the office an engaging space for the workers. The eight feet wide arched windows bring in ample natural light and panoramic vistas of the city into the space.

They have been designed with a variety of seating , a bench, high counter, lounge seater with a scribble board , to have brainstorming sessions and informal meetings.

Our client, a newly married couple,wanted a contemporary style design for their bedroom.

We decided to go for shades of delicate pink and brown for the bedroom. Giving a minimalistic look with soft fabric prints and wall panelling to accentuate the subtle colour palette.

Design Proposal / Foot Balance / This is a unique clinic and store which focuses on foot health. The brief given was to make an impact and awareness for their brand in a new city.
We had to do a simple renovation which can be done in a quick timeline. Hence we used colors and simple materials that could make the space look attractive.
Pine wood partition seperates the spaces and adds up as a storage and display shelf. Soothing colors have been used to create a sense of relaxation.
