Villa Swagatam…
I consider October and November 2025, the most liberating periods of my life as a designer. I transformed into an artist, craftsman, writer, and thinker as my creative spirit flourished in the various sanctuaries I inhabited. With hundreds of pictures, each telling a thousand stories, I'll be sharing more tales from my residency in the days to come.

I can’t begin to describe what I felt here spatially. Tonnes of porcelain moulds accumulated over 300 years of preserving a rich and delicate craft… I stood there and took this shot to depict the scale of how immense the archives are…
It was a happy sad moment for me thinking of how much knowledge we had lost to wars and strife, but yet a comfort in knowing that the strains of craft are never altogether lost because it survives even in its embers. The space was silent with a chalky aroma and a faint skylight in an otherwise dark alley. I wanted this moment to last forever.

Tales in terrazzo…
Couldn’t stop myself from clicking this beautiful lift lobby of a vintage apartment in Bombay…it had the most vivid tonal combinations. The art deco expressions of black, yellow and steel bathed in natural light made my pause worth the while… might share more later :).
