The aim of Orchument is to be the one-stop solution provider for all documentation needs with respect to architecture, design and the built-environment. Our services are classified into two broad categories.

1. Visual Documentation:

Visual Documentation involves capturing and portraying the built-space in real-time through Photographs and Videos. Often the aim of this kind of a documentatio

n is to present the final outcome of the project, to portray how the design works. There are several techniques that can be used according to what the project demands so as to portray it best. A few example of the techniques are Fish-eye shots for interiors/other narrow spaces, macro shots to capture the texture of the materials, Tele shots to capture artistic and abstract patterns, Time-lapse to show the sun-path transition, Time-lapse to show Day-Night-Day transition of the built environment, Construction Time-lapse, Hyper-lapse to capture the user-design relation, Hyper-lapse walkthrough of the built-space, Real-time Video walkthroughs, 180/360 degree panoramas, Interactive Image walkthrough etc. A few benefits of this kind of a documentation include

2. Architectural Documentation

Architectural Documentation involves documenting existing built-structures and generating measured drawings, construction drawings, 3D Models, Physical models as per the requirement. They are mainly done for purposes such as Archiving, Redesigning, Renovation or Restoration of the built-structure etc. Precision and accuracy is of utmost importance in this type of work.
