Harmony House -
Where Minimalism meets Indian Craft to create a climate-responsive tropical retreat.
Harmony House is a masterclass in architectural diplomacy. For this project, we navigated the delicate balance between two seemingly opposing philosophies: the husband’s preference for Scandinavian minimalism and the wife’s love for rooted, traditional textures.
Rather than compromising, we allowed these identities to coexist. The home features a tactile, earth-bound shell—utilizing raw brick and traditional spatial logic—while the interiors are defined by the clean lines, light-filled volumes, and functional precision of Nordic design.
This "Rooted Minimalist" approach creates a home that feels both grounded and ethereal. It is a space where the warmth of tradition meets the clarity of modern living, proving that true harmony isn't found in a single style, but in the thoughtful dialogue between them.
