At NAO, the bar was designed to do a little more than just be a bar.It brings together drinks, coffee and dessert display in one continuous composition.

The fluted timber base keeps the lower half grounded, while the hand-built timber grid above takes its cue from Japanese joinery. It keeps the back bar open and light, while still giving us room for storage and display.

Dark tiles anchor the counter, while the illuminated light boxes above add another layer - part signage, part graphic installation, and, quite conveniently, very good mood lighting. Their warm glow gives the bar a presence even when it’s not serving.

The result is a composition where the functional, the graphic and the architectural all occupy the same frame, without one competing with the other.

Every sequel comes with expectations. Restaurants included.

The first NAO, NAO - Next Asian Outing ,had already done the hard part , it had found its people. So our job wasn’t to reinvent it. It was to figure out how NAO could evolve while still feeling like itself.

We wanted to bring the brand into the now, spatially. To give it a more contemporary expression, while making the space warm, layered and full of texture.

The design takes cues from Pan-Asian interiors without reaching for the obvious. More texture, materiality and art; less literal interpretation. Familiar enough to feel like NAO, but with enough of a shift to make it feel like its own place.

There was, however, one part of the original that was very much not up for discussion - The women ( the ones painted on the walls )

Amul Kapoor and Anmol Kapoor were quite clear about that from day one. The women were staying.
We agreed.
We just had some thoughts about how they should stay.

And then came the slightly more complicated question: which women, and what exactly should they portray?
That conversation went on for quite a while, and, thankfully, kept us all entertained along the way.

More on that soon.

Introducing the next chapter of NAO.
Same spirit. New expression.

Some brands are remembered by their logo. Others, by the details. For Narh, every element was designed to feel intentional.

Rich textures, tactile finishes, and refined detailing create packaging that feels as premium as the products within. Typography became a defining feature of the identity, with every product carrying its own distinct font pairings while belonging to the same visual universe.

A system built on individuality, held together by consistency. Quietly confident, unmistakably Narh.

A project that’s been close to our hearts since day one, Firenze Gelateria & Caffè , got featured in Architectural Digest India

From the very beginning, we were all incredibly clear and aligned on what we were building - a brand, a product, and a space that felt like one complete story. That shared vision, along with a lot of trust, made every decision feel intentional. Looking at what Firenze has become, we think that really comes through.

Seeing it featured in Architectural Digest is a lovely reminder of what can happen when everyone is working towards the same idea with care and conviction.

Grateful to everyone who was part of bringing Firenze to life. 🤍

When Ayush Hans Mehra , the founder, approached us to design Narh , the vision was clear: to create a men’s grooming brand that stood apart through authenticity, clarity and thoughtful design. The ambition was to build a modern, premium self-care brand rooted in India, one that felt elevated without losing its sense of familiarity.

Our goal was to create a visual identity that felt timeless, where heritage and modernity coexist effortlessly. In a category often dominated by dark palettes and aggressive, masculine cues, we saw an opportunity to take a different path. Through bespoke typography, intricate detailing and a carefully restrained visual language, we crafted an identity that feels confident, immersive and enduring, building a cohesive brand world that extends far beyond the packaging.
