The Nirvana Being Story

‘Nirvana Being,’ typically words associated with gaining consciousness or enlightenment, in Buddhism. In our case, it was our Founders discovery that his lungs were damaged beyond repair as a result of living and breathing in a Megacity with the worst air quality in the World. It was his moment of consciousness – about his breath, and its importance for well-being. All of this while he was healthy, young(ish), had a good lifestyle and exercised regularly.

Multiple visits later, to doctors, to friends, to friends of friends because this is India, Jai, founder and CEO of Nirvana Being realized that the problem was in the air he was breathing. Problem though was, no solution existed to treat this air, and no one was talking about how much of an impact it could have on everyone living in Delhi and around. Air Pollution, in 2015 was still a concept that most people were unaware of.

So, he started by figuring out how to make himself better, spoke to everyone he could about Air Pollution, and decided to educate himself on everything to do with it.
