Pattnaik Residence was designed around a simple thought, a home should feel like it belongs to the people living in it. Every decision, from the layout to the finer details, came from understanding the client’s everyday rhythm and how they wanted the space to support it.

Every great workspace begins with thoughtful planning. For the Manipal office, the idea was inspired by India’s timeless courtyard layout — creating an open central workstation area surrounded by cabins that visually connect into the core of the office. The result was a space that instantly felt larger, more open, and full of energy from the moment you entered.

By placing the workstations at the heart of the design, the office naturally celebrated collaboration, movement, and everyday activity — turning functionality into the backbone of the entire experience.

For the MEMG project, the brief was to create a space that reflects elegance, luxury, and quality. At NACK Studios, we grounded the design in warm browns, a colour that feels familiar and rooted.

To add contrast, we introduced blue as a subtle highlight, while keeping the base in grey for balance. The result is a palette that feels rich, calm, and intentional.

At NACK Studios, the redesign of Royce Paan was shaped through a careful balance of colour and material. We introduced a pastel colour-blocking approach to soften the visual impact, while a chandelier above adds a focal point that elevates the space beyond the everyday.

To balance the volume of green, we layered in wood, grounding the palette and bringing warmth into the environment. This interplay of tones and textures is what defines the new look of Royce Paan, controlled, distinctive, and intentionally designed.

We approached the redesign of Royce Paan with a clear intent to transform how the space is seen and experienced. The existing setup was reworked to enhance visibility, streamline and create a stronger presence within its surroundings without overcomplicating the design.

We focused on clarity and balance, allowing every element to feel intentional and cohesive. The result is a space that feels more open, more defined, and naturally draws attention, a refined identity that elevates the everyday experience of the store.

At the Delhi Design Conclave 2026 by Indian Institute of Interior Designers, Delhi Chapter, Nack Studios had the opportunity to be part of a panel on “The Business of Design.”

The conversation revolved around balancing architecture, interiors, and design, and how we approach the mix between turnkey ex*****on and design consultancy, constantly evolving based on project intent and client needs. We also explored the role of brand building, where today, social media isn’t just visibility, it’s an extension of how a design practice communicates its philosophy and process.

Grateful to be part of a dialogue shaping the future of design as both craft and business.
