🌿 Drug Free India – Youth Awareness Programme Successfully Held 🇮🇳
The National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN), Zonal Campus Vadodara, East Kutch Police Department and The Gandhidham Chamber of Commerce & Industry successfully organized the “Drug Free India – Youth Awareness Programme” today at Chamber Bhavan, Gandhidham.
On this occasion, President Shri Teja Kangad stated that drug abuse is a serious challenge for society, especially for the youth. Through such awareness programmes, it is important to educate young minds about the harmful effects of drugs and guide them towards a healthy and responsible lifestyle. Gandhidham Chamber will continue to support initiatives that contribute towards building a Drug-Free India and a stronger society.
Superintendent of Police - Kutch East, Shri Sagar Bagmar, IPS conveyed his best wishes message for the programme. In his message, he appealed to the youth to stay away from drugs and emphasized that the fight against drug abuse requires the cooperation of the entire society. He also urged citizens to immediately inform the police if any suspicious drug-related activity is noticed.
Expert speakers Ms. Nitin Siwatch, Addl. Asst. Director – NACIN, and Shri Anurag Ranjan Khare, Retd. Asst. Director – NACIN, addressed the participants and highlighted the serious social and health impacts of narcotics and the need for youth vigilance.
A large number of students, youth and members of the trade fraternity participated in the programme and pledged their support towards the vision of a Drug-Free India.
Hon. Secretary Mahesh Tirthani stated that creating awareness among youth about the harmful effects of drugs is the need of the hour. He appreciated the support of National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) for conducting this important awareness programme at Gandhidham and emphasized that collective efforts from institutions, society and youth are essential to eliminate drug abuse.
He concluded by expressing gratitude to the speakers, participants and all supporters who contributed to the successful organization of the programme and reaffirmed the commitment of The Gandhidham Chamber of Commerce & Industry towards promoting awareness and social responsibility initiatives in the future. 🌿
