The Moon of the House on Water

In this house, it isn’t hanging in the night sky—it quietly rises from a six-inch-deep pool at its heart. A simple spherical fountain becomes the home’s moon, while the shallow water around it works silently to shape a cooler microclimate. As the water gently evaporates, it tempers the surrounding air, making the home feel noticeably cooler than a conventional one.

It’s a reminder that architecture doesn’t always rely on bigger gestures. Sometimes, the most meaningful spaces are created by elements that quietly work in the background—bringing comfort, delight, and a little bit of magic to everyday life.
