A Beam in the Middle of the Room? Don’t Hide It. Design It.
One of the realities of renovation and interior design is that we don’t always get a perfect blank canvas.
Sometimes, you open up a space and discover a beam running right through the middle of the room.
The easy solution? Try to conceal it.
Our approach? Make it part of the design.
In this bedroom, the structural beam became an opportunity to create a beautiful architectural transition—using warm wood panelling, integrated lighting and carefully planned ceiling detailing.
Instead of looking like an obstruction, the beam now:
✨ Defines the bedroom zone
✨ Creates visual depth
✨ Adds warmth and character
✨ Integrates seamlessly with the furniture and ceiling
✨ Turns a structural necessity into a design feature
