At its heart lies an introverted, double-height courtyard that functions as the lung of the home. Angled Aerocon panels ensure privacy while allowing uninterrupted airflow, creating a microclimate that keeps the interiors naturally cool and well-lit.

It is so private, in fact, that it also doubles as a spot for drying ingredients used to make traditional homemade snacks.

Spaces like these are what we design - shaped around how people actually live.

At its heart lies an introverted, double-height courtyard that functions as the lung of the home. Angled Aerocon panels ensure privacy while allowing uninterrupted airflow, creating a microclimate that keeps the interiors naturally cool and well-lit.

At its heart lies an introverted, double-height courtyard that functions as the lung of the home. Angled Aerocon panels ensure privacy while allowing uninterrupted airflow, creating a microclimate that keeps the interiors naturally cool and well-lit. One of the courtyard’s most striking features is a 15-foot-long, 75-year-old boat sourced from Kochi and mounted along the wall—an evocative artefact recalling the family’s early journeys through the Kerala backwaters and visually connecting multiple levels of the house.
