Electrical work is usually thought of as a finishing-stage job. On a well-run site, it's already decided before plastering begins.

Sequence matters here more than almost anywhere else in the build.

→ Conduit routes for wiring have to be planned and chased into brickwork before plaster is applied, following the electrical layout drawing
→ When this step is skipped or rushed, electricians end up cutting grooves into finished, cured walls to lay conduit afterward
→ Cutting into cured plaster and brickwork after the fact weakens the wall locally and almost always leaves a visible repair line
→ It also disturbs any waterproofing or masonry bonding already completed in that section of wall
→ A finalized electrical layout - switch points, panel location, conduit runs - needs sign-off before the plastering crew starts, not during

Admixtures aren't fillers - they're chemical additions with a specific, narrow job.

→ Plasticizers and superplasticizers improve workability without adding extra water, which would otherwise weaken the mix
→ Retarders slow down setting time, useful for large pours or hot-weather concreting where fast setting causes cold joints
→ Accelerators speed up setting and early strength gain, useful for time-critical elements but risky if overdosed
→ Every admixture has a correct dosage range relative to cement content - overdosing can cause segregation, bleeding, or delayed strength gain
→ Site staff adding admixture "by eye" instead of by measured dosage is one of the more common uncontrolled variables in ready-to-use concrete

Before a single wall gets plastered, every wire's path is already decided — permanently.
Here's what actually happens before plaster ever touches the wall:

→ Switch and junction box positions are marked directly on the brickwork, matched to the electrical layout
→ Groove lines for the conduit are marked next, tracing the exact path each wire will take
→ Grooves are chipped into the brick — deep enough for the conduit to sit flush, not proud of the surface
→ Recesses are cut wherever a module box needs to be seated
→ PVC conduit is laid into the groove, protecting the wire it will carry for the next several decades
→ Junction and module boxes are seated into position, ready to disappear behind plaster
Skip or rush any one of these steps, and the fix later means breaking open a finished wall.

Curing isn't one method. It's a category, and the method chosen decides how much strength actually develops.

Most sites treat "curing" as a single checkbox, when the method underneath it matters just as much as doing it at all.

→ Gunny bags dry out within hours in Indian heat, and curing effectively stops the moment they do
→ Ponding keeps the surface continuously saturated for the full curing window, which sustained hydration needs
→ Curing compounds seal in existing moisture but add none - useless if applied on an already-dry surface
→ Sprinkling by hand is inconsistent and misses corners and edges most often
→ Roof slabs and horizontal surfaces suit ponding; vertical elements like columns need wrapped hessian kept wet on a schedule, not compounds alone
