For many years, Badhan, Sanaag, Federal Republic of Somalia, faced a severe water crisis. Families had to travel long distances to obtain water, often paying high prices for a basic necessity. The shortage of clean water affected health, education, livelihoods, and the overall development of the region.
A turning point came when took a bold step by investing in a sustainable solution instead of waiting for outside assistance. Their vision, commitment, and determination to provide clean water for the people of Badhan made this historic project possible.

The successful drilling of the first in marked the beginning of a new chapter for the community.
