Letting architecture fade out, so nature can step in.

Work in progress at Oridam Villas. The journey here begins at the top of a 20-meter slope and gently unfolds toward the paddy fields below. Whether it’s a sudden panoramic view or a quiet central courtyard, every space is designed to share the vast sky.
Right now, under the tropical rain, the site is undergoing its most beautiful transformation—monsoon acceptance.

3cent Plot - House of Three – Vinod Residence

How do you fit a fully functional, green-centric home for a family of three on a compact 3-cent plot?

By strategically cantilevering the bedroom area and the stair landing, we freed up the ground footprint to comfortably accommodate two parking slots (or one car + a lush green pocket). 🚗🌿

Here is how the vertical planning works:

🌱 Ground Floor: Family dining, kitchen, and a cozy bedroom.

🛋️ First Floor: A second family lounge + two bedrooms. One features a private side courtyard for our plant-loving client, complete with a solar-heat-reducing screen.

🧺 Second Floor: Utilities, laundry space, and a sprawling terrace garden.

Proof that tight urban constraints can breed beautiful, functional architecture.

Vinod Residence Kochi - House of Three ( 3 cents - 3 people)

When our clients approached us with a 3-cent plot, they had a clear vision of comfort. Our mission was to design a home that fulfilled all their utility needs without the cramped constraints you might expect from a small site.
Through rigorous spatial planning and a deep dive into small-plot building regulations, we optimized the ground floor to easily accommodate two-car parking, a bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen.
Every corner is tailored to use the plot’s natural shape to its advantage, ensuring ample light and ventilation. We wanted to give the client their dream comfort, completely erasing the feeling of a "small plot."

Why we still build physical models in a digital world. 👇

In an era of instant AI and digital renders, we choose to slow down at the start. We believe that true architecture must be felt before it is built. The actual magic of design doesn't happen on a computer screen—it happens through the thinking process of our hands. Working with tactile materials forces us to slow down, analyse scale, and truly connect with the spatial form.

Swipe through the carousel to see our process. You will see how a raw paper study model transformed into precise digital lines, and finally, into a completed, lived-in reality.

For us, this hands-on process is anchored in three strict pillars:

1️⃣ Understanding the User: Design begins by listening to you and shaping spaces that support how you live and grow.
2️⃣ Context & Climate: Creating spaces that complement the climate and the local environment.
3️⃣ Form & Materials: Derived directly from climate and context. Spaces that respond to the sun, wind, and rain harmoniously, making the home both comfortable and beautiful.

A house should look beautiful, but more importantly, it needs to breathe, handle the elements, and serve the people inside it.

If you are planning to build a home that is truly responsive to its environment climate, save this post 📌

A behind-the-scenes look at our recent workshop visit. For us, design isn't just about what's on the screen—it's about stepping onto the floor, feeling the materials, and collaborating closely with the hands that build them.
When our design intent meets the incredible craftsmanship of local artisans, a beautiful learning exchange happens. And that is exactly how a great product evolves.

Our Next villa project on the way - Site visits hit a little differently when this is the backdrop. Finding a location that offers absolute peace and quiet right in the heart of the city is rare—but designing a villa project around it is where the magic happens.

Asar Residence
An architect brought the vision.
An artist—the client himself—brought the soul.
Together, we saw the site as a canvas, and the garden became the artwork. 🌿🎨
