Municipal and irrigation networks may carry the same water, but their operating conditions can differ.

Pressure profile, flow requirement, terrain, above-ground exposure, burial conditions and external loads must all be considered. Pipe material, diameter, pressure class and jointing system should be selected for the actual application.

The right pipe is determined by operating conditions, not location alone.
