Designed as an immersive experience, the Tea Blending &
Tasting Area invites visitors to engage with the art of tea
making through tasting, learning, and exploration. Warm
timber finishes, soft lighting, and thoughtfully curated
displays create an intimate atmosphere inspired by
traditional tea houses, while a central blending counter
and feature display wall showcase the craftsmanship,
heritage, and diverse flavours that define the culture of tea.

Nestled amidst sprawling tea plantations and a reserved forest in Assam, the Tea Cafe is designed to blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. Lush greenery, integrated throughout the space, creates an immersive experience that draws the surrounding landscape inward, while bamboo and rattan celebrate the region’s rich craft traditions and cultural identity.

A restrained palette of natural stone, polished concrete, exposed brick, and warm wood lends the café a timeless, tactile character. At its heart, a grey marble bar introduces a refined contrast, balancing the rustic materiality of the space with understated elegance.

As the first point of arrival, the reception sets the tone for the
Tea Experience Centre through a blend of contemporary design and local heritage. Inspired by the undulating, weaves of bamboo, the surrounding gardens, the space combines natural materials, warm lighting, and curated details to create a welcoming environment that introduces visitors to the story and spirit of the estate.
