This elevation explores the contrast between solid stone volumes and sleek floating wooden forms, creating a visually balanced and premium residential facade.
The lighting strategy enhances depth, texture, and night time ambience — giving the project a strong architectural presence both day and night.
The Palette: Grounded in Nature 🪵🪨
For this Rishikesh project, the material selection was entirely guided by the landscape. We wanted the structures to feel integrated into the mountains, not imposed on them:
Textured Stone Walls: A rugged, heavy base that echoes the rocky riverbeds and cliffs of Rishikesh.
Warm Wood Panels: Rich timber cladding on the upper cantilevered volumes to introduce warmth, texture, and a sense of organic luxury.
Sleek Glass & Metal: Minimal profiles that maximize the twilight views and keep the overall silhouette sharply modern.
It’s a tactile mix of heavy and light, rustic and refined.
