Serving as a jury member for the student art installations at IDAC Expo was truly an enriching experience.

What stayed with me most was the depth of thought behind the work. Out of the 6 installations, 5 explored themes with a strong spiritual and philosophical essence — from the seven chakras and voids to mirrors of life and freedom.

These were not the subjects I was expecting from young architecture and interior design students, which made the experience all the more inspiring.

What I especially appreciated was seeing storytelling emerge as a design approach, with abstract ideas finding expression through space and form.

This experience further reinforced my perspective that the future of design is not merely visual or functional, but experiential, reflective, and deeply human.

Very heartening to witness such sensitivity and originality in the next generation of designers. The future feels thoughtful, expressive, and full of meaning.

Inspiration doesn’t always come from Spaces.
Sometimes, it’s found in experiences.

Being featured in Good Homes alongside 52 creative minds and 250 inspirations was an invitation to pause and observe

💛sculptures that hold emotion,
💛food plated like art,
💛digital installations that play with perception,
💛sofas that feel like Sculpture ,
and metal crafted with soul and precision.

These moments remind me that design is everywhere -
in material, form, texture, balance and storytelling.

As I step into 2026, these are the inspirations I’m consciously carrying forward —
the courage to blur boundaries,
to borrow from art, craft and culture,
and to create spaces that are experienced, not just seen.

Grateful to Good Homes for curating a conversation where inspiration is not abstract —
it’s tangible, expressive, and deeply human. ✨
