To some this master bedroom may be an overload of patterns, for us it’s just the right balance. Patterns exist in this space through various styles on the walls, wardrobes, arm chairs and bedding, but somehow they harmonise into a single story.
Homes are meant to be layered, not clinical. They are put together with thought not just from our imagination but mainly from how we imagine our clients to experience it.

The study den was a compact one. We tried to keep the material palette simple and seamless. While the floors and walls carry the same tone of colour in micro-topping and lime plaster, the warmth of the room truly comes in through the study table and adjacent unit.
We custom made these marble handles from left over stone so the language continues.
Last but certainly not least, was a Murphy bed and sofa setup covered in a beautiful tapestry by Kalakaari Haath

Three years ago, we made a small change in the studio that ended up changing far more than we expected.

We moved from a 6-day work week and 10AM-7PM schedule to a 5-day week with 9AM–6PM working hours.

At the time, it felt like an operational decision. Looking back, it completely changed the rhythm of the studio.

• Then: Longer weeks and later starts often left us feeling like we were constantly catching up.
Now: More structure and clearer boundaries have brought greater focus, energy, and intention to the workday.

• Then: Rest was something squeezed into the gaps between work.
Now: Weekends offer genuine time to reset, recharge, and return with fresh perspective.

• Then: Creativity was often driven by urgency and exhaustion.
Now: Ideas emerge from a calmer, more collaborative environment where thinking has room to breathe.

• Then: Work had a way of spilling into the entire week.
Now: There’s space for life beyond the studio - quiet evenings, long walks, hobbies, and moments that often inspire the work itself.

The biggest shift wasn’t productivity.
It was balance. And honestly, I don’t think we’d ever go back.

Ceilings have always been an unseen canvas. But not for us, we take them seriously. Sometimes more than actual art. But each of these serve a purpose, either functional or aesthetic. More often than not, they are much more than just a detail we added.
A sweet compilation of ceilings we’ve designed over the years in different materials, different spaces.

A custom designed, hand carved and painted mandir ceiling inspired by the landscapes of Vrindavan

This ceiling alone took over 5 months and endless craftsmen to build. Let alone the engineering of creating a vault with synchronised solid wood carved panels. But the result speaks for itself.

Cement vaults, yes, why not?

Cane, wood, backlight, makes for a gorgeous ceiling detail. And yes, the cane is sandwiched and protected in glass!

Our site lunch was very close to how we imagined our clients using it. With soft curves, of course!

The idea of connecting two spaces with the flexibility of using them independently as well is so crucial in city homes. For us, it’s just another canvas to add detail.
We love sliding folding doors and this one in particular was crafted in stained glass, hand cut and laid in place with lead trims.

Render to Reality - 12 months apart
The journey from Render to Reality is much longer than we’re ever really able to convey here.
Since so much of the work we do, details we develop are collaborative, intuitive and interactive, our renders become more of a design development tool and less about selling a final picture.
We allow ourselves to deviate a little, truly feel the space as it comes to life.
